Letter to the Guardians
A man with a long white beard sat in his work shop looking at a letter. He gets many letters but many do not make it to him because the post office doesn't deliver to him. The ones he does get are the ones left next to the cookies left out for him. Normally it's a child saying thank you for the presents, hope you like the cookies, good luck on your trip, things like that. There are even parents who are writing for their children. But this letter, this letter was different. It was for all the Guardians and it was not from a child it was a parent thanking them. Of course the man had told the other Guardians; he even caught the boy reading it again with a big smile on his face. Not that the man could blame him, he yet again found himself reading it.
"I may not see you anymore, most likely due to me being a grown up but I still know you are there so I have to thank you for helping my son. Thank you, Santa for allowing me to see my son so happy on Christmas when he opens your presents. I even get to watch as he plays with the toys later with a big smile on his face. You really do a great job spreading wonder."
"Thank you Tooth Fairy. My son really likes to find a quarter under his pillow where there used to be a tooth. Recently I got a nice surprise when my son came running up to me happy about getting a quarter for his tooth and I didn't even know he had lost his wiggly tooth. I am sure you do your best to keep those memories safe."
"Thank you Sand Man. I love to hear about all the happy dreams my son has and how excited he is about them. You also protect my son form nightmares were I can only comfort him after he has had them. You make it so I do not have to see his sad face every night. You bring fantastic dreams for my son instead."
"Thank you Easter Bunny. My son really enjoys hunting for the eggs you hide. I like to watch him run around in our yard excitedly looking for the eggs. You do a great job hiding them. You bring hope and are amazing at doing so."
"My son also has been excited about a great snow ball fight he had. He keeps drawing a boy in a blue hoodie and holding a wooden staff. Apparently the boy in the hoodie came up with the idea to dump a tree branch full of snow on me. I suppose I should thank you Jack Frost because it really did make him laugh and have fun."
"I sincerely thank all of you."
The man, after reading the letter, smiled happily and chuckled little.

The mom sat in the chair, next to a widow, that she always read in before she went to bed. The sound of something tapping on the window alerted her to a letter. The letter was held onto the window by frosty ice and she opened the window to retrieve the letter. The mom shook the letter, to get the frost off, then opened and began to read it.
The deliverer watched as she read the letter and he had a smile on his face. He was confused when he saw the mom gather up snow from the windowsill. She then quickly threw the snowball she had made right in his face.
Then she shouted "That's for dumping snow on me!" and closed the window with a thunk.
"What? Aaah I have to get her back for that" says the boy "She has a nice throw, though" as he is carried off by the wind.

Everyone Needs a Guardian Part 1
"Explain to me again," North said, studying Jack, "How did this happen?"
The winter spirit sighed as he leaned on his staff.
"Like I said the last twenty times, I can't, because I really don't know what happened."
"That's a bloody lie!"
They both looked at the small, fluffy, bluish grey rabbit sitting on North's desk, glaring up the boy.
"You know exactly what happened ya bludger now change me back!"
"Look Bunny, I really don't know what or how it happened, and I definantly don't know how to fix it. On the bright side," Jack said, a smirk forming, "You look like a bunny now. A sweet, adorable little bunny."
Bunny's eye twitched, and he

Bunnymund was quite aware that the winter spirit was tailing him. Honestly, with ears and a nose like his it was a wonder that Jack believed he could sneak around the Pooka. And he would have turned around and found Jack in a spit second, ready to give his rival a piece of his mind.
But he had work to do. A guardian was always busy, even if he did only have one day of the year specifically set around them.
He was the guardian of Hope after all. Not a particularly easy job.
He had already ventured all throughout Russia, China, Mexico (he was much more partial to that climate) and was now traveling through the familiar town of Burgess. The s

Because of the Guardians - POEM
Because of St.North,
I love Christmas even more.
With candy canes, presents and magic galore.
Because of the Tooth Fairy,
I love brushing my teeth,
I rinse, I repeat and floss underneath.
Because of Bunnymund,
Easter is great,
Colourful eggs and on a wonderful date.
Because of the Sandman,
My dreams are so dear,
I fly so high with the moon so near.
Because of Jack Frost,
Winter is a breeze,
Snow on the ground and no leaves on the trees.
Because of Pitch,
The Nightmare King,
I'm absolutely scared of nearly everything.
Because of the Guardians,
From New Years to Christmas Eve,
Even though I get older,
I still believe.

The continuation of the story I did called Childhood's Guardians. Both are inspired by the movie Rise of the Guadians©.
Edit: Oh just because it may not be clear. The letter the mom gets is from all the guardians and she didn't think she could see them any more till she threw the snowball at Jack Frost.
Edit: Just added a line or two to make it sound better to me.
